Project: Smoothie - Get extra greens!
I love smoothies but often cant afford all the extra fruit and ingredients to go into them. This Green Smoothie was literally thrown together with what I had in the fridge. I wanted to avoid fruit with this one as I had already had a couple of pieces that day.
A glass of Almond Milk
1 scoop vanilla whey protein
Generous sprinkle of flaxseed
Handful of baby spinach
4 slices of chopped cucumber
Simply throw it all in and blend.
I wasn’t expecting it to taste that great considering there was no fruit, but it actually tasted fab - a great way to get extra greens!
